Overview
This policy explains what UngrindFi processes when you use our free calculators, request a results email, or allow optional analytics. We try to collect only what is needed for the feature you choose.
Free Calculators and Quizzes
The ordinary calculations for our free tools run in your browser. Entering values into a free calculator does not, by itself, submit those values to an UngrindFi server.
This changes when you deliberately ask us to email your results. The information needed to create and deliver that email is transmitted as described below.
Information We Process
One-time results emails
If you choose to email yourself calculator or quiz results, we process your email address and the result fields needed to build that message. We send them to Resend, our email delivery provider. This request does not subscribe you to a marketing list.
Technical and usage data
Our hosting and security providers may process standard request data such as IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, and error or security logs. We use this information to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the site.
Optional Analytics
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity load only after you select “Allow analytics.” They can process usage and technical information such as pages viewed, clicks, device and browser details, approximate location, cookie or similar identifiers, and referral information. Clarity can also create interaction heatmaps and session replays. UngrindFi explicitly masks all main-page content from Clarity and does not load Clarity on calculator URLs that contain query parameters.
We do not include calculator balances, ages, income, or spending as custom analytics event parameters. Google page locations and referrers are sent without query strings. Analytics can still observe non-content interaction and technical data. You can use the site without allowing analytics.

How We Use Information

- Measure site usage when you consent to optional analytics
- Comply with legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and security obligations
Service Providers and Disclosure
We use providers including Vercel for hosting, Resend for one-time results emails, Firebase/Firestore for aggregate internal analytics snapshots, and—only with consent—Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. We disclose information to them as needed to provide those functions.
We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party behavioral advertising. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect users or the service, or in connection with a business reorganization, subject to applicable law.
Cookies and Local Storage
The site uses browser storage for your analytics preference. Consented analytics providers may set cookies or use similar browser identifiers. You can remove local data and cookies in your browser, although doing so may reset that preference.
Retention
Browser-stored preferences remain until the site or you replace or clear them. Results-email, server, and security records may be retained where reasonably needed to deliver a requested message, troubleshoot problems, protect the site, and meet legal obligations. Our providers may retain records under their own policies and legal duties.
Your Choices and Rights
You can decline optional analytics, change your analytics preference, avoid the optional email feature, or clear local browser data. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal information we hold, and to object to or withdraw consent for certain processing.
To make a privacy request, use the contact page. We may need to verify the request before acting on it, and some records may need to be kept where required by law or for security or dispute-resolution purposes.
Security and International Processing
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. UngrindFi and its providers may process information in countries other than your own, where data-protection rules may differ.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the service or its data practices change. We will update the date at the top when we make changes.
